Is it common that people with ulcerated colitis of the colon continue to loose weight even after a year and half?
Answer:
I initially lost weight for about a year after I was dxed. Once I was put on prednisone for the second time (lost weight on it the first time) I finally started to gain weight. Now, a couple years later, my weight is actually higher (by about 15 pounds) than I would like it to be. I would discuss your weight loss with your doc. Also check your diet to make sure you are eating a healthy, sensible diet.
