Crohn’s disease causes headaches?

Question:
I am looking for information concerning headaches, even migraines type with crohn's.  My Dr. has me set up with a neurologist on Friday.  I have severe electrolyte imbalance and take 18 tabs of potassium, plus 4 tabs of magnesium, 2 tabs of zinc. I just need lots of support right now, to get this disease under control.  My disease is in my small bowel.

Answer:
I also experienced gigantic headaches while on sulfasalazine but not when I switched to asacol. Of course, neither of these drugs helped me a bit but the headaches were adding insult to injury - Also I've had many migraines on prednisone but only at certain doses. I just got off pred for the first time in 5 years about 3 weeks ago and the headaches are gone (wish I could say that about the other aches
