Question:
Has anyone got a home remedy, herbal remedy or the name of medication that will resolve this headache. I have a family member who is suffering severely.
Answer:
There is no home remedy for clusters (although, the use of of oxygen at a certain rate and in an certain manner was discovered in a barn). Clusters are treatable, but in a VERY individual way. Strong analgesics are generally not helpful. AVOID all alcohol during the cluster cycle. The single best, fast abortive is Imitrex injection, IF ONE HAS NO CONTRAINDICATIONS FORBIDDING USE OF IT. You shouldn't have trouble finding a Doc to treat you and Rx properly. But, finding one with the knowledge is not easy. If you tell me where you are located, I'll do my best to help.
