Question:
I've been having chronic headaches for over thirty years following two head accidents as a kid, and lately they have been made worse by chronic fatigue syndrome flaring up. I talked my doctor into prescribing a muscle relaxant like Floricet only to find my insurance company won't pay for it. Does anyone know of a medication that will remedy a nagging headache?

Have you tried the Imitrex, maxalt,Zomig family of meds? They're more expensive than Fioricet... OR..maybe they'd cover the ingredients singularly (stranger things *have* happened) codeine and phenobarb, all that would be lacking is the caffiene. Good luck.
