Tagged As: Cure For Cluster Headache
Question:
I suffer from chronic cluster headaches which are much more severe than migraines. I have tried every mode of therapy in traditional medicine, but the headaches keep coming back. I have tried Feverfew, acupuncture, etc. but to no avail. Does anyone know of another method I could try without the side effects of drugs? The MD's have had me on so many pharmaceuticals, and they all had tremendous side effects, but no cure for my headaches. I get these at least one to two times a week, and they put me out of commission for at least 2 to 3 days. The pain is excrutiating and even narcotic pain pills do not take all of the pain away. I know they have something to do with serotonin and the neurotransmittors in the brain. Also, during periods of low pressure in the weather, I seem to get even more.
Answer:
I have had some success relieving headaches using a technique called PsychoNeuro Pain Response (PNPR). It uses the body as a natural biofeedback mechanism and uses the mind to give permission for health to occur.
