Question:
Has anybody taken 'Norgesic'tablets for muscle tension headache pan? what is there any side effect of this tablets, is it a relieve to tension headahce? Is it a sleeping pills?

Answer:
I take Norgesic Forte for my migraines. My understanding is that Norgesic Forte is just a double dose of Norgesic. NF is a combination of aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine citrate, which is a muscle relaxant. The aspirin works to kill pain, the caffeine works to constrict the over-dilated cranial blood vessels, and the orphenadrine citrate puts me to sleep (it may have some other beneficial effect, too.) If I've already had a cup of tea or other caffiene that day, I don't get so sleepy. NF works very well on my mild-to-moderate migraines. I'd bet it would work for tension headaches, too, especially if there's muscle tension involved.
