Question:
The C, coupled with small bm's, seems to be the worst symptom. It makes me sluggish , foggy, and just plain sick. Fatigue is also a big symptom for me. I cannot relate it to any specific foods, although high fat/junk food seems to make matters worse over time. It looks like I will be put on a trial of pentasa, which would be the first Crohn's drug to try (I've tried just about ALL the IBS drugs). I guess my question is this: does anyone have Crohn's with these predominant symptoms and also might pentasa be helpful here??

Answer:
I've had CD for 18 years.  Your symptoms sound like mine.  I also have narrow stools and have had abdominal pain during flares, though generally to the right of my belly button (terminal ileum).  But CD can occur anywhere. I avoid high-fat foods, especially fast food.  I've also found that the best fiber supplement for me is Perdiem.  Easy to take and it works.
