Question:
I wonder if a balanced diet with good nutrition , avoiding triggers when possible, combined with Feverfew can be used to prevent migraine. This would be a good question for an herbalist who has experience with headaches.

Answer:
I am a nurse who works in NeuroRehab. I have been watching my patients take the herb Gingkoba Biloba 40mg (NAME BRAND) and have noticed many things. In the nursing journal that I read, there was an article a month ago about it also. There also was one in the Journal of American Medicine. I decided what the heckm, I'll try this. I have migraines really bad, and am sick of narcotics, etc. I have been using this herb for about a month 40mg three times per day at Breakfast, Lunch, and Supper. I can tell you this. On the days I take it, I have no headaches. On the days that I miss, I have a headache the next day. I have supremely bad headaches about 4 times per week, so this appears to help alot. I was surprised. Anyway, it does increase bloodflow to the brain in head-injury patients and improves concentration, as I see this daily. It has been studied, but the FDA is really slow about provingherbals. Let me know your opinion.
