Does anyone take something natural for migraine headaches?

Tagged As: Natural Remedy For Migraine Headache

Question:
Does anyone take something natural for migraine headaches?Right now, I take Midrin when I have them, but I am looking for something natural, not chemical, to prevent them or so I don't have to take Midrin.

Answer:
Well, there's Feverfew (see the FAQ for more info), but it's important to remember (IMHO) that natural substances are just one form of chemical. Many chemical remedies are just synthesized versions of chemicals that exist in nature. For instance, aspirin is just a fancier version of willow bark. Sudafed is pseudoephedrine -- ephedrine being available in herbal form. And so on. Herbs is drugs. If what you mean by natural is stuff like hot/cold compresses, acupuncture, biofeedback, etc., allow me to do my Roseanne Rosannadanna.
