Can anyone tell me what causes Optical Migraines? Or, better yet, what can I do to prevent them?
Answer:
These are a subset of full migraine headaches, where blood vessels spasm, causing all kinds of odd symptoms. The ophthalmic migraine causes only the eye findings. It is treated similarly to migraine headache. Go see a neurologist.
