Question:
What is stomach migraine? Is this a real-world disorder, or a layman's term for something else, or what? It's the first time I've come across this term, and it sounds suspiciously odd.
Answer:
Young children occasionally have unusual manifestations of migraine headaches where they get all the symptoms but the headaches. Some children will get abdominal pain and vomiting as part of a migraine syndrome but never complain of headache. This is usually called abdominal migraine.
