Hubby and I decided to give Atkins the 14 day test drive starting the 1st of this year. So today, we just finished day 2 and we both have the same major complaint: We are HUNGRY. And eating much more than we used to before starting the Atkins diet. Is this normal? Will we get over the constant feelings of hunger?

Eat more! There's no limit to how much you can eat on Induction, as long as you stick to the approved foods list, get enough veggies, and stay under 20g carbs. Yes. The first two weeks are Induction - to induce ketosis. The ONLY thing you have to worry about is keeping carbs low enough so that you get into ketosis. If you're hungry, eat more. Once you adapt to LC eating, the hunger should go away. Until then, don't worry about it.
