Would it be hard to lose weight on the atkins diet Menu plan that I am following? should do?

Tagged As: Atkins Diet Menu Plan

Question:
I am not terribly over weight, but i would really love to lose 5 kgs. I'm 55kg, and am 158cm. I've just started the Atkins diet plan a week or so ago... it seems hard to keep track of the hidden carbs but i'm trying!!! :) so far i don't see any results, perhaps due to the carbs, but this week, i'm tryin to stick by the induction rule - no more than 20-40g of carb!!! just a question, a person in my position, would it be hard to lose weight on the atkins diet? and how much exercise do you think i should do?

Answer:
Atkins induction is 20g/day maximum for at least 14 days. If you're allowing up to 40g you probably won't get into ketosis and may have trouble losing. Stick to meat, salad, veggies and it's not hard to stay under 20g. If you stick to Atkins induction you should lose easily at first. You don't have a lot to lose so you may not see it come off as fast as others. Exercise as much as you feel comfortable with. Helps weight loss and also makes you feel better in general
