Dr. Atkins has written 5 or 6 books, and has a web site. I can't remember the web site name, but here are some titles of his books, most by Robert C. Atkins, M.D. Dr. Atkins' Diet Revolution Dr. Atkins' Nutrition Breakthrough Dr. Atkins' Superenergy Diet Dr. Atkins' Health Revolution Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution Dr. Atkins' Diet Cookbook (by Fran Gare and Helen Monica) Dr. Atkins' Superenergy Cookbook (with Fran Gare and Helen Monica) Dr. Atkins' Diet Revolution was written in 1972, and says not to drink soda, but that was before caffine-free diet soda. Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution was written in 1992, so is much more up-to-date, but in it he recommends you find a copy of the old book and read it. My wife and I have been on the diet since the last Sunday of July, 1997. I lost 14 pounds and 2 or 3 inches, but 2 days ago I went out of ketosis, and can't quite figure out why yet. I hope to get back into ketosis today. All in all, my wife and I are quite pleased, especially with the fact that you don't get hungry on this diet. Good luck.
