Can you please give me a sample Cabbage Soup Diet that works?

Question:
I know that the cabbage soup diet is NOT a good thing, but I happen to like the soup. (I know, I know.....) Anyway, is it permissible on a Lo-Carb diet? I started the Protein Power plan two weeks ago and have lost 8 pounds. (Happy dance, happy dance....)I know it's going to start slowing down, but I'm lovin' it for now. :) Anyway, is the soup going to mess me up? Thanks,

Answer:
I asked a friend about the cabbage soup diet and it seems it's bad for you because of the various allowed and disallowed foods on the diet, not the soup part. Cabbage soup in general is very good for you! Raw green cabbage has 1.9 grams of carbs per 1/2 cup (shredded = 35 grams) and you can substract out .8 grams of fiber, leaving you with 1.1 grams. 1/2 cup of boiled green cabbage (75 grams) has 3.4 grams of carbs, minus 2.1 grams of fiber, which leaves 1.3 grams. So I'd say go ahead and have your soup!
