Does anyone have the recipe for the cabbage soup diet. I would appreciate it if someone could give it to me or tell me where I can get it from. Can anyone let me know how to make cabbage soup diet?

Here is a copy of the Cabbage Soup Diet. This diet is good if you like to do a body system cleaning every so often, but not for any long term plan. I have found that the soup is quite tasty if you put chopped turkey breast in it. Of course the chopped turkey breast hampers the seven day results, but it tastes better and its not a bad idea for lunch. Quick Start Diet Basic Fat Burning Soup 2-3 Large Onions 1 large can tomatoes 1 small can tomatoes 4 stalks of celery (peeled and sliced) 3 Carrots (sliced) 1 lb mushrooms (optional) 2-3 yellow squash 1 med. head of cabbage 1 pkg. of Lipton onion soup mix 2 tea schilling Creole seasoning 8 - 13 chicken bouillon cubes 2-3 cloves garlic (optional) 1/4 cup of barley (optional) Add water to desired taste and consistency. Bring to boil the tomatoes, carrots, and barley, while cutting up the other vegs.. Cook about 10 minutes add remaining vegs. and seasonings and cool to desired tenderness. This soup can be eaten any time you are hungry, eat as much as you want, whenever you want and any time of day. This soup will not add calories the more you eat the more you lose. If eaten alone for an indefinite amount of time you could suffer from malnutrition. Fill a thermos in the morning if you are going to be away during the day. Day 1: All fruits except bananas. Your first day will consist of the fruits you want except bananas. Cantaloupes and watermelon are lower in calories than most fruits. Eat only your soup and fruits the first day. Drink unsweetened tea, cranberry juice, or water. Day 2: All vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed with all the fresh raw or cooked vegs. of your choice. Try to eat green leafy vegs. and stay away from dried beans, peas, and corn. eat all the vegs. you want along with you soup. At dinner time reward yourself with a big baked potato and butter. Eat all the soup you want this day also, but DON'T eat your fruits. Day 3: Mix day one and two. eat all the soup, vegs. and fruit you want. You can have a baked potato this day. IF YOU HAVE EATEN FOR THREE DAYS, AS ABOVE, AND HAVE NOT CHEATED, YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU HAVE LOST 5-7 POUNDS.... Day 4: Bananas and skimmed milk. Eat as many bananas and drink as many glasses of skimmed milk as you can, on this day alone with your soup. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates and so is the milk. But, on this particular day of your diet your body will need potassium, carbohydrates, proteins, and calcium to lessen your craving for sweets. ( eat bran cereal and fiber cereal with skimmed milk) Day 5 Beef or chicken and tomatoes. You may have 10-12 oz. of beef or chicken and a can of tomatoes or as many as 5 fresh tomatoes on this day. Try to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water on this day to wash away the citrus acid in your body. Eat your soup at least once this day. Day 6 Beef and vegetable. Eat till your heart's content of beef and vegs. this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like, with green leafy vegs.. BUT NO BAKED POTATO. Day 7 Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices, and vegetable. Again stuff, stuff, stuff yourself. At the end of the 7th day if you have not cheated you will have lost 10-17pds. If you have lost more than 15 pounds. Stay off the diet for two days before restarting the diet from day one. This diet is a fat burning diet and the secret is that you will burn more calories than you take in. It will flush your system of impurities, and give you a feeling of well being. This diet does not lead itself to drinking any alcoholic beverages at any time, because of the removal of fat build up in your system. After being on the diet for several days if you find your bowel movement has changed, eat a cup of bran and fiber. Although you can have black coffee with this diet, You may find that you don't need caffeine after the third day. Definite no, no's with this diet are no bread, or alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, Tab or any other diet drinks. Stick with water and unsweetened juices, unsweetened tea, and skimmed milk. After being on this diet for a period of 7 days, enough fat will be out of your system that one beer or drink can make you intoxicated. This is why it is important that you stay away from the diet if you plan to attend a party - stay off the diet for at least 24 hours. Any prescribed medicine will not hurt you on this diet. Continue this plan as long as you wish and feel the difference in both mental and physical disposition. If you prefer you can substitute, broiled fish, or chicken instead of the beef on one of the meat days, you need the protein of the beef on the other meat day.
