Has anyone heard of the mayoclinic cabbage soup diet? it is the one were you can eat all of the meat and vegetables you want. and does it work?

Answer:
A friend showed me a copy of the Mayo Diet last night & it seems that the NEW generation of Mayo Diet is low carb + grapefruit. The old version of the Mayo Diet WAS the cabbage soup diet. The nonsense at the beginning is the same giving to heart patients who need to lose weight quickly for surgery and the strange directions (8 oz of grapefruit juice-- not a drop more or less-- is the magic amount for EVERY dieter at every meal) resemble the old version, but the rest of it is low carb-- bacon & eggs for breakfast, meat & salad w/ dressing or legal veggies w/ butter or sauce for lunch & dinner. No breads, pastas, white/yellow veg, etc. For what it's worth,
