Answer:
Fat Burning Soup Plan / Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital used this & 'Day One - Day Seven' for overweight heart patients to lose weight rapidly before surgery: 1 large head cabbage, 6 large green onions, 1 bunch celery, 2 large green peppers, 2 large cans whole tomatoes, 1 large can V-8 juice, 1 pkg. onion soup mix, (optional/mushrooms), water, ground black pepper & other spices of choice/limit salt. Cut all veggies into uniform medium size pieces. Add juice & water to cover & bring to boil; boil fast 10 minutes then simmer 2-3 hours. Season with pepper, curry, parsley, hot sauce, any spices of choice to taste (limit salt & bouillon). Store in refrigerator & heat just enough for a meal at a time. Eat between meals too; anytime you're hungry. THE MORE YOU EAT THE MORE WEIGHT YOU'LL LOSE AS IT TAKES AS MANY CALORIES TO DIGEST THIS SOUP AS IT HAS IN IT! DAY ONE: Eat only soup & fruits. All fruit, except bananas (cantaloupe & watermelon are lower in calories than most fruits). Drink unsweetened tea, cranberry juice or water. DAY TWO: All vegetables. Eat till stuffed with all the fresh, raw or canned vegetables you want. Try to eat leafy veggies & stay away from dry beans, peas & corn. Eat along with soup. At dinner, reward yourself with a baked potato and butter. DAY THREE: Eat all the soup, fruit & vegetables you want. No baked potato today. If followed for 3 days as above, without cheating, you should have lost from 5-7 pounds. DAY FOUR: Bananas & skim milk. Eat as many as 3 bananas & drink as many glasses of water as you can today, along with the soup. Bananas are high in carbohydrates & so is milk. On this day your body will need the potassium, carbo's, protein & calcium to lessen the craving for sweets. DAY FIVE: Beef & tomatoes. May have 10-20 oz. of beef & a can of tomatoes today. Try to drink 6-8 glasses of water to wash away uric acid in your body. Eat the soup @ least once today. DAY SIX: Beef & vegetables. Eat any amount of beef & vegetables; even 2-3 steaks, with green leafy veggies. No baked potato. Eat soup @ least once today. DAY SEVEN: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juice & veggies. Stuff yourself. Eat soup @ least once today. At the end of 7 days, without cheating, should lose 10-17 pounds! If you've lost more than 15 pounds, stay off plan for 2 days before beginning again. Will affect everyone differently since digestive systems are different. After day 3, without cheating, you will have more energy than when you began. After being on plan for several days, you can eat a cup of bran or fiber. You can have black coffee with this but won't need the caffeine after third day. NO, NO'S: bread, alcohol, carbonated drinks. Stick with water, unsweetened fruit juice & skim milk. Eat the fat-burning soup anytime you're hungry; as much as you wish. The more you eat, the more you lose. No fried foods or bread. Can substitute broiled or baked chicken or fish for beef on only one of the days since you need the high protein in beef. This 7-day eating plan can be used as often as you like. If correctly followed, it will clean your system of impurities & give you an overall feeling of well being. Does not lend itself to any alcoholic beverages because of fat removal build up in your system. Go off plan for @ least 24 hours before any alcohol intake. Any prescribed medications will not hurt you on this plan. Continue plan as long as you wish & feel the difference, both mentally & physically.
