Answer:
kelv/koyilada - I don't know what your source of information (or spellchecking) is - but I hope you haven't paid them yet. The diet is laughable; the only good thing about it is that it's probably better than most dieticians suggest - but that's hardly a compliment. Seriously - is this the best you could do: DIET FOR DIABETES PATIENT Some useful tips 1. If a Mean is delayed have your quota of fruit, buttermilk or juice at that time. 2. Dont eat while watching TV, reading or listenting radio. 3. Alcohol could interfere with your medication. 4. Eat in a slow and relaxed manner. In this way less food can satisfy your hunger. Some necessary information 1. Sweet preparations such as Barfi, Peda, Mysore Pak, cakes, jams, plain sugar etc., cause blood sugar to rise rapidly. This is undesirable, except in hypoglycaemic emergencies (caused by very low blood sugar level). So, don't yield to temptation, even during festivals. 2. A properly followed Meal Plan can improve the action of your tablet or injection and could reduce the dosage. 3. Dietary indiscretions cannot be taken care of by an extra dose of the medicine. Even when you are on tablets or injections, diet is important. So, if I understand it correctly, I should be eating fruit, buttermilk or juice; as you've mentioned no other foods - they must be the staples. And I'll be OK if I abstain from Barfi, Peda, Mysore Pak, cakes, jams, plain sugar etc. I should be fine, as I've never knowingly eaten Barfi, Peda, or Mysore Pak. But I am a bit short on buttermilk. Go away, you pathetic spammer. PS The T1's are going to love the hypo advice(just be careful of getting sticky pockets:-)
