I agree that this probably wasn;t the right place for this question. One strange connection, though. When I was attending an ED group years ago, a bulimic group at Beaumont hospital in Detroit, MI, there were a lot of bulimics who had recently begun the behaviors, quite soon after being on a very restrictive, liquid diet and fasting weight -loss program (actually run by that same hospital). Given the other research that supprts a connection between severe restriction and the later development of bulimic or binge eating behaviors, or even just an increase in the ED-type thinking patterns, I think this person (forgot the name) might really want to rethink what he or she is doing........
