Diet and Health FAQ

Is there diet and nutrition software available?

Tagged As: Diet nutrition software

Question:
I'm new to this group and have found the conversations here friendly and helpful. I'm new to the Atkin's diet and have found myself wondering how I'm doing for the day. I loathe counting calories, but I do have a pretty good idea of what I've eaten for the day. Is there diet and nutrition software available which helps keep track of your diet for you and which breaks down what you've eaten into calories, carbs, protein, fat, etc.? I'm sure there is, but I was just wondering what your experiences have been.

Answer:
There is one called Diet Watch, and it is free over the internet. You can go to www.Download.com and then go to the health section and you will see it. I Use a product called Life Form on a Regular basis Its pretty simple to use, but DIet Watch has a much larger database I do use it some for hard to find foods or just to play around with it!!! LOL, You can also download a trial version of Life Form Software in the same place..! I like it so much I bought the full version from PC Connection. The numbers at the end of our posts is our starting weight/present weight/goal weight.!!! Good luck
