Question:
Hi all. I found an interesting abstract of an article from Public Health Nutrition. I am no medical person so I was wondering, for those who keep up with the medical literature, if you have read and have any comment about the article that I referenced below. The abstract does not give nearly enough information. Any information for me ? Thanks
Answer:
Moderately high-carbohydrate (45-55% of the daily calories)/low- fat diets seem to be a good choice with regard to the prevention of diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors as far as the carbohydrates are rich in fibers. Carbos are rich in fibers???!!! Sure some are, but not those that permeate the typical diet!!
