Question:
i hate taking pills of any form this includes vitamins but am fascinated how pills work and am curious since i know nearly nothing about diet pills since over the counter diet pills don't need prescriptions im guessing that prescribed diet pills are just stronger so would it be just as effective to double the dose of over the counter stuff to get same effect of prescribed stuff im reading posts from some people who get droswy, zonked out or zombied out and others write about prescribed pills being like speed, or a form of speed so what are the basic differences between over the counter stuff & prescribed stuff in terms of side effects and in terms of how it effects metabolism and in terms of how it curbs appetite
Answer:
Different medications target different areas of the body, so it depends on which pills you want to know about as to how we should go about answering your questions. Could you be more specific? Are you curious about amphetimines, fat burners, herbal aids, SSRIs, or what? Next year there will also be hormonal meds if I have my info correct. All pills are not created equal (at the risk of being politically incorrect and offending certain medicaments with fragile egos) and their actions are all different. Ren P.S. As far as your guess that prescription pills are just stronger you could not be further from the truth. That is like saying if I eat more bananas, my car will get better gas milage or something as absurd. The two are mutually exclusive, independent of one another.
