HONK If you think Dr. Atkins products are too expensive.

I think $3 for an Advantage Bar is a good example. It will be nice when we are not paying extra for all these products--when production increases and costs go down--not to mention all the shipping charges we can do without when local stores appear. Maybe you need to increase your Kava Kava and St. John's Wort. There are thousands of manufacturers out there. Yes, they are a little high. No more then some of the other things at the GNC. But then again I use them sparingly...so I try to just eat fresh meat, cheese, and salad. But if I get an itch...then I will make something from the soya baking mix. Or I buy one bar at a time. But I don't really like the taste of the bars or the soya flour. So it isn't a real issue for me. The Atkins Shake Mixes are $23.00 at GNC but I buy them online at www.juicers.net for $15.59 each and if you buy more than $50.00 worth, shipping is free. They also have other products for less. Wally Mart has Atkins Advantage Bars for $1.99 and they went on sale at GNC for $1.49 yesterday.(In Maine) Wow! $1.49 is excellent!! I just got the best deal I could find at GNC...$1.99 each minus 20% for Super Tuesday. I was impressed... until I read your post. :) S.L. A good place that I have found other Atkins products is Vitacost.com, their service charge is the cheapest I have ever seen and the Atkins product line is at a good discount as well.
