Question:
I'm looking to lose about 50 pounds. Last year I lost 25 on WW in 3 months, awesome program but as soon as I couldnt afford to go back to the meetings I lost my self control and gained it back. I lost 40 pounds with metabolife in about 4 months, seemed the weight was just pouring off, thought I found magic but then I ended up having a seizure (really freaked dh out, I came in, sat on the bed, started convulsing and rolled off the floor...) Anyway the dr said it was a nasty effect of the metabo. My question is, can I take any diet pills? Am I just asking for trouble? Or should I just stay away from the ones that contain Ephedra (sp?) and those types of herbal stimulants? Do you guys think I could take something easy like dexatrim and not risk my heath? I know its just an appetite suppresser but its better than nothing. I'm already adding some exercise and on a strict vegan diet (that has nothing to do with the w/l though) Should I take some herbal diet pills?Thanks for any advice! I appreciate it!

How are you going to stay on these things forever? Because when you go off of them and don't have a plan you are going to regain the weight, just like you did with the diet. You don't have to starve yourself to lose fat and while diet pills may help in the short run you still need to do something that keeps you from regaining all the weight, like a plan that you can live with for life. If you did WW before and lost, you must have the information to do it again. You don't have to go to meetings to stay thin, post here and get the support you need, this will carry you further then any diet pill.
