There has been an ad going on the radio for over a month in my area. It claims that you can lose 6 to 10 pounds in 2 days (yeah right!). Has anyone heard of this and what it is? Can anyone provide full information about Hollywood Diet Pill and related things? I have a teen age daughter and I overheard some of her friends trying to figure out a way to buy some. Of course this is the kind of stuff I hate to see perpetuated, especially to young girls - but I have a feeling I am going to be confronted with yet another explanation of why this is bad. Is it a drink? Pill? Weird excercise? Thanks for your help!

Just out of curiosity, I did a search for it and found a web page at http://www.bodylove.com/index.html. On this site you can find information about hollywood diet pills and related stuff.I'm not very impressed with it. It's rather vague on details, but it looks like they have you drink juices for a couple of days, exercise to a video and use chitosan. For 2 days, it's hardly worth the $40 they are asking. Ignoring the poor approach which won't work longterm, you could do this diet for far less just by shopping at your supermarket or health food store.
