Any advice about the weight loss diet pill?

Tagged As: weight loss diet pill

Question:
I need to lose 20 lbs fast. I took Phen-Phen in '96 and quickly lost 35 lbs and was thinner than I have ever been. I cant take it now though because I have developed a sever reaction to any stimulant drug:sudafed, caffein,ma huang, athsma medicine etc. I am looking for something natural that will supress my appatite and speed up my metabolism. I do not know why I am over weight because I am a vegetarian(aspiring vegan)and I work so hard(physical labor)8 hours 6 days a week. I do tend to fast for days then binge which I know screws up my metabolism. Any advice about weight loss diet pill?

Answer:
I posted an earlier message to the question Is there a weight loss diet pill that really works? from Kitty. Then got slagged off for recommending you visit a certain website. The reason I did that is NOT because i am advertsing the site. I run a practice here in the UK and as my background is in Nutritional Medicine, I was very excited to be involved with Clinical Trials of HerbaSlim, formulated by Professor James Zhou, PhD. He was Head of Pharmacology at Yale and is the world's leading expert in Chinese Herbal Medicine. Since I majored in Chinese Herbs for my degree, it was a perfect opportunity to help set up the group trials here. I was fascinated by the complex formula that appeared to work on the liver function in the body. By nurturing the liver functions ability to excrete stored fat from the body, Professor Zhou has created the world's first 'switch' for controlling fat production from liver activity. HerbaSlim works by contributing to biochemical actions that turn fat back into glycogen and energy for muscles. The 'side-effect' is to increase energy levels and drop weight quickly WITHOUT changing diet. In the trials with 45 people over a 14 day period, the average weight loss was 6.5 pounds. In further studies, the weight loss did not continue unless the food intake was altered, showing that the liver required further stimualtion from lowered fat intake. All but 2 of the 45 people continued to lose weight during a 10 week period using HerbaSlim. Average weight loss for this period was 11 pounds. There was little or no hunger reported during this time. I myself, was part of the trials. That was why i originally posted the message to visit http://www.herbaslim.co.uk. The other reason is that the product is not yet widely available in the shops or by mail order. I finally just wish to comment on the messages posted by 'jamie' who, having seen the other postings he has made, appears to have put himself in as the 'web policeman'. His comments on the contents of the herbs in HerbaSlim are ill-informed and offensive. If you care to review the clinical studies on the KEY herbs, you will find they are liver- nurturing. This is because it is the liver that decides how fat you become. That's why Professor Zhou's discovery is quite unusual and brilliant. It is also why HerbaSlim is patented. The product is totally natural, organic, contains no caffeine or calories and is totally safe to use. Here in the UK, HerbaSlim is just about to receive major publicity since Doctors believe that there is some GENUINE hope to slimmers without using drug therapies that have known (and unknown) side effects. I find it distasteful that people like 'jamie', who know or understand little of the workings of this product just ruin it for everyone else, by shouting off. It would make sense if people are going to look at a product, to truly understand how and why it works (or not), before writing the sort of crap I have seen written in other messages. And one more thing. 'jamie' said in a reply to another message that anything natural that will speed up your metabolism and supress your appetite is going to be chemically related to drugs.... Where did you get your medical training!!! The liver controls metabolism and the brain controls appetite. There are many natural herbal compounds that can nurture both of these functions but are not in the slightest way related to drugs - chemically or otherwise. The secret of controlling appetite and hunger is balance not suppression. Appetite suppressants are dreadful and should not be used by those with a tendancy for depression. Finally I would never suggest using sweetners like Aspartame as they have been linked to brain cancer. There are natural sweetners to use which do not compromise health, brain function or suppress anything. Please. Let us allow people to freely discuss health matters properly. If it involves recommending a product then that must be OK. It is the people's choice whether to visit a site or not. But it is more important to get your health facts right
