I need to lose 13 pounds by september 8. The things I have done in the past to make weight aren't working .Anyone know in quick weight loss diet plan how the pro' s get it off so fast for the weight in's then gain it right back ?

First, a disclaimer: I'm not a medical authority of any kind. I read about these things, and I've lost weight myself, sometimes rapidly, for athletic pursuits, but this is entirely my OPINION. I understand that the original poster is looking to lose weight rapidly and that requires a different approach than long-term weight loss, but cheese? Cheese is not only high in fat and calories, it usually has a high sodium content, and sodium tends to retain water. Not the thing for rapid weight loss. I've seen a lot of recommendations re: rapid weight loss and they do vary a lot. IMHO that is because most of the advice is gym buddy advice. I don't know if any legitimate medical authorities give advice for this kind of thing, because they'd tell you not to do it, period. The poster said he was trying to lose the weight by Sept 8, only a couple of weeks (less than that now). 13 lbs lost over that time frame would have to be nearly 100% water weight. There is no way to take that much weight off in fat that fast, except for liposuction (sp?)
