Question:
I need to lose weight, so I am looking after either a recipe book or some suggestions for food that does not have too much fat but actually tastes something.
Answer:
When I was following a fat-free regime, I found www.fatfree.com a good source. The other thing I did was just to cook any ordinary recipe but without adding any fat. Most work is fine (sweat rather than fry), some even taste better than the fat-plus version. I found that I ate substantial amounts of carbohydrate without spoiling the effect of the diet (about 70lbs in 7 months a year ago). Get into some of the simple tastes like good multigrain bread or potatoes. Tomatoe and oinion sandwiches became a particular favourite of mine.
