Does anyone have a copy of low carb diet plan menu

Tagged As: low carb diet plan menu

Question:
Someone once e-mailed me a diet plan and about all I can remember is that for breakfast you could have 2 slices of bacon and 2 eggs with grapefuit juice. Then mainly vegetables and meat the rest of the day? Does anyone have a copy of low carb diet plan menu? I was on it for a week and lost several pounds. Now I'm trying to quit smoking and want to avoid the weight gain those goes along. Thanks!

Answer:
Hi Jean it looks like no one answered this post for you, so i'll give it a shot. i think it's the Mayo Clinic diet. a friend of mine just tried it, unsuccessfully (she's now trying CAD), and i Believe she mentioned adding the grapefruit juice at breakfast.... hope that helps a little. Although - what you describe, minus the juice, is a typical start for many of us low-carbers. i have 2-3 eggs nearly every morning (have found some low-carb pancakes recipes to break up the monotony), 3-5 slices of bacon... and the rest of my day does indeed revolve around lots of vegetables and meat. So, give Atkins a try, or Carbohydrate Addict's Diet, or Protein Power. Any of those should shed some light for you. (sorry, don't know about a book for Mayo - my friend had a xeroxed sheet that outlined 12 days worth of eating).
