Is there any success story with high protein weight loss diet?

I was wondering if there is anyone else that has done well with high protein weight loss diet? with doing high protein diets. I've had tremendous success following a high protein plan. I lost 30 lbs in three months and went from a size 12/13 to a size 6/7. I've been able to keep the weight off for over a year now and it's been easy to maintain the loss. My weight loss was completely fat which surprised me since I wasn't able to excercise while I lost the weight due to the fact that I had chronic fatigue syndrome. I recently started excercising as I no longer have chronic fatigue and all the problems that went with it (sinus infections, yeast infections, chroninc bronchitis, depression and loss of energy). What I loved about following a high protein plan is that I was able to eat all day long so I was never hungry. I'm an emotional eater so I wasn't very good good at following diets that limited me to counting calories and fat grams. I know there's a lot of controversy about high-protein diets being unsafe, but I did use all natural suppliments all throughout my weight loss. I ate a lot of high quality protein too like seeds and nuts as well as lots of veggies everyday. I supplimented my diet with a multi-vitamin, calcium, magnesium, pottasium and extra vitamin C. Just the fact that I've lost my unwanted pounds, all my chronic fatigue symtoms are gone and my health is better than its been in many years is a testament to the results of following a high-protein diet. Is there any success story with high protein weight loss diet?

Answer:
What do you consider high-protein? I eat 110-130g of protein every day, and I weigh 129. This comes out to 35-40% of my overall calories. It's important to still eat a balanced diet - you still need veggies and fruits, and fat is essential. I've done pretty good with this plan.
