Question:
Does anyone ever feel hungry after eating foods which are specifically made for 'dieters', i.e. low fat yoghurts, foods with artificial sweetner etc? I just wondered as I had a large and healthy lunch followed by a low fat greek yoghurt. After I had finished it I felt hungry although I did not eat anything else - drank water and soon forgot. I just thought it a little strange and wondered if anyone else had similar experience?

There was period in the past when I went through a frozen light dinner jag. I was not able to cook at the time. Now my shopping basket is an open declaration of healthy, nutritious food, with one minor lapse ....when I succumbed to the infamous frozen pot pie. Yes, I feel unsatisfied after eating the the diet foods with a few exceptions. many of them contain additives with unpronounceable names. I do like skim milk processed cheese slices or the fat free. I alternate with small servings of cheese that are up to 15% butter fat (1 cube size portion). The fat free diet salad dressings are also useful. I add a tsp. of mayo. I can't use lemon juice or vinegar in large quantities due to reflux. You can make good low fat dressings with tomato juice or yogurt for the base ingredients.
