Question:
I'm pretty much to serious dieting and am trying to find out more about different diets. So, do any of you out there know anything about the 3-day British Heart Foundation diet and what makes it work? It's supposed to be based on some chemical breakdown. Would appreciate any input. Thanks!

Answer:
Here is requested diet. If you have already lost weight, I would imagine that you wont lose anything like 10lbs. Good luck: 3 DAY BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION DIET YOU MUST DRINK FRIVE EIGHT OUNCE GLASSES OF WATER EACH DAY THIS DIET MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY TO LOSE 10LB IN THREE DAYS First Day Breakfast: black coffee/tea. 1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice toast, 2 tsp peanut butter. Lunch: black coffee/tea, 4 oz tuna, 1 slice toast Dinner: 2 slices any cold meat, 1 cup string beans, 4 oz beetroot, 1 small apple, 4oz vanilla ice cream Second Day Breakfast black coffee/tea, 1 egg, 1 slice toast, 1/2 banana Lunch 4 oz cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers Dinner 2 hot dogs, 4 oz broccoli, 2 oz carrots, 1/2 banana, 4 oz vanilla ice cream Third Day Breakfast black coffee/tea, 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple Lunch 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice toast Dinner 4 oz tuna, 4 oz beetroot, 4 oz cauliflower, 1/2 melon 4 oz vanilla ice cream This diet works on a chemical breakdown. Do not vary or substitute any of the foods. Salt and pepper to be used and no other seasoning. Use common sense when no quantities are given. Toast is to be dry - no butter or margarine. Tuna, string beans and beetroot can be frozen.
