Could the water in liquid diet cause cold?

Tagged As: cold liquid diet

Question:
I'm on an 800cal/day diet, started 3 days ago, and it's about 70 outside but I've got on 2 pairs of socks, heavy pants, a sweatshirt and another zip up sweatshirt and I'm freezing, esp my hands. Usually I'm the one in the winter not wearing a coat as I am always warm so this is strange and I was wondering if it was a normal side effect of a very low calorie diet? I just cannot seem to find a way to get warm. Btw, I hope to be welcomed, my previous dieting history was for about 12 years I maintained a weight of 305 to 310, 3 yrs ago I started weight watchers and got down to 214 lbs in just over a year, then quit, (didn't feel like I could count another point) and gained a lot back and am 268 today, though 3 days ago upon started this mostly liquid diet I was 178, so I realize I've lost quite a bit of water in the last 3 days. I'm trying to drink 9 cups of water a day, could the water weight loss cause this cold? Thank you for any help

Answer:
I am a qualified nutritionist and I would strongly advice you to stop eating this low calories liquid diet. The body needs at least 1500kcal for normal functions, if you eat this little of course you feel cold, the body is in shock, please write to me what you are trying to achieve and we can find a way
