Does anybody out there know of any self-help groups in London, UK? I've recently been diagnosed as having IBS and am now getting worn down by the symptoms. It would be good to talk to someone about it.

You can start at the web site of NACC - the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease - at www.nacc.org.uk There are local NACC groups in all areas of the UK including several around London. Each local group has an organizing chairman and a secretary as well as an attached doctor who may be a local specialist or more usually a local GP who is interested in IBS.
