Has anyone made any of the recipes from the South Beach diet book? I just got the book and was going to try to make a few of the recipes. I wondered which ones others like. This diet seems a little less harsh than Atkins, but is still basically a low carb diet (which I try to adhere to anyway).

Hmm, I really enjoyed the ricotta dessert I had today. I used the one with cocoa powder. Another alternative, when you're on Phase 2 and can have some whole wheat pita, is to mix the ricotta with a little mozzarella, some vanilla or almond extract, and Splenda. Stuff it in the pita, sprinkle with cinnamon and microwave -- the mozzarella makes it a little gooey and it's kind of like a cheesy danish.
