Question:
My gastro doc. prescribed Robinul Forte tabs for spasms and excessive gas; does anyone know any information about this medicine? I haven't tried these yet. The patient information sheet said this medicine is used for ulcers and or other things. I also take Asacol three pills three times a day for inflammation. I had all the tests done for Crohn's and ulcerative Colitis and everything came back negative, so I have IBS. Is inflammatory bowl the same thing as irritable bowl? Now my only problem is urgent explosive gas to the point that most times if I don't get to the bathroom in time, I have a little wetness and need to change. Does anyone else have these symptoms, and what do you do for this?
Answer:
No. IBS is one of those things where they can't see anything wrong with the bowel. There is no inflammation at all. Inflammatory bowel (IBD = Inflammatory Bowel Disease) is more likely to refer to disorders like Crohn's or Colitis where there is an actual physical disease process to be seen. I got rid of the gas following simple but for most people hard rules 1 NO WHITE FLOUR, nothing, not a little bit no excuse nothing, that means, no white bread, cookies, pastries, pasta. I used to cut down on the white flour thinking aaah, a little bit won't hurt, but no difference, now I haven't had a thing with white flour for over 2 months and my gas is gone. A piece of white bread stays for about 3 months in your body, turns into glue sticking onto your intestinal wall causing inflammation on top as well. 2 NO MEAT, meat rots in your body, fish is OK 3 Drink at least 2 liters of water per day, I even drink more, and water makes you have more frequent bowel movements. 4 Don't overeat; don't eat too late before going to bed. I reduced my IBS/Inflammation symptoms 90% by changing my diet.
