Regardless of any of our personal convictions concerning abortion, each of us seem to realize that there is a most serious problem with teen pregnancy. There is a cycle which continues to repeat from one generation to the next. In fact, for every four pregnant teens, three were the product of a teen pregnancy. I believe it was stated that teen pregnancy was a concern by people on both sides of the issue. They are offering help. Why does it matter if they are prolife...they are helping women who've obviously chosen life. I disagree. I don't think throwing up ones hands and handing out contraceptives is enough by itself. In California, we spend more money than any other state handing out contraceptives. They are relatively easy to get here by teenagers and have been for at least 25 years. We have one of the highest teen pregnancy rates. I'd have to say that the differences in the rates are probably multlifactoral. True, one has to change also the views to tolerate and accept teenage sexuality. Can teenagers really get birth control pills confidentially and without much expenses? 25 years? That would be from 1973. Was the pill prescribed to teenagers so early? Here that was not done until 80's. When you start to post your stinking philosophy about how life beging at the momemt of conception (conception of what?), then anybody knows that you don't give a damn about teenagers whose contraception failed. You'll force birth on teenagers for the sake of your vomited philosophy.
