Question:
Has anyone used the new first response pregnancy test?? It says it can detect HCG (pregnancy hormone) up to 4 days before your missed period....was wondering if any one had used it and what did you think of it?
Answer:
I used the First Response pregnancy test 2 days before my period and we saw a line although it was VERY faint, but it did show and it was correct. I used two of these, and both times got a VERY faint line at 2 days before AF was due. In fact - it was so very faint I thought that it was negative. I used an EPT at the same time (because I am a freak) and even on the first day I got a line that was clear enough that I could tell it was ++. I still prefer the EPT. Don't even get me started on how long it takes to rip apart a Confirm to see if that's a line or a shadow of the stupid plastic heart! I tried First Response early detection HPT in July, five days before my period was due. I just had a feeling I was pg. It was negative. I did a Confirm HPT and it showed a VERY faint positive five days before period was due! It took a couple of hours to show up, but there it was. Confirm is THE BEST, IMO...
